Cheese & Bacon Pasta Sauce

  • Serves 4-6

Cheese & Bacon Pasta Sauce

  • 750g Chicken Skinless Thigh Fillets, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 x 200g container Copperpot Cheese & Bacon Flavoured Dip
  • ½ cup cream
  • ½ cup white wine (or water)
  • 1 chicken stock cube, crumbled
  • 200g chopped ham
  • 1 small head of broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 500g pasta (suggest Fettuccine, Linguine or Penne)
  • Parmesan to garnish
  • Cracked Black Pepper to taste
  • Heat a little oil in large pan, sauté onion and chicken until golden, stirring regularly.
  • Add dip, cream, white wine or water and crumbled stock cube.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes or until sauce thickens a little. Add broccoli and then chopped ham to heat through.
  • Cook pasta separately, drain and add to sauce.
  • Sprinkle with grated parmesan and cracked black pepper.
